  • Access instructions for your home (e.g. key safe codes, directions)
  • Service notes, consent forms, and care agreements
  • Website usage data (via Google Analytics)

4. How I Collect Your Data

I collect data through the following channels:

  • Google Forms – Client intake and booking

  • HubSpot Forms – Online enquiries and website contact

  • Email, SMS, and WhatsApp – Direct communication with clients

  • Printed forms – Physical records (kept securely)

  • iPhone Notes - During consultations and pet visits

  • Google Analytics – Website traffic and user interaction

  • HubSpot CMS – Website and form hosting

  • GoDaddy – Domain provider

  • Stripe - Payment provider

5. How Your Data is Stored and Protected

Your data is stored securely in both physical and digital formats. Measures in place include:

  • Printed documents stored in a locked cabinet with limited access.
  • Electronic files stored on password-protected devices secured with Norton antivirus software.
  • Mobile phone used for client contact is password protected.

Information is stored securely within trusted third-party services:

  • Google Workspace (Google Forms, Gmail, Google Maps)
  • HubSpot (forms, CMS, CRM)
  • GoDaddy (domain management)
  • Stripe (payment information)
  • Apple iOS (location services, notes & SMS)
  • MayMyWalk App (location services)

Data collected via this website is protected through HTTPS encryption.

6. How I Use Your Information

I use your information to:

  • Communicate about bookings and care instructions

  • Provide safe and personalised care for your pets

  • Navigate to your home using Google Maps

  • Handle emergencies, including contacting your emergency or veterinary contacts

  • Maintain business records and comply with insurance/legal obligations

  • Improve this website and services via Google Analytics (anonymous tracking)

  • For my personal safety, as a lone worker, location services are shared with my mum (Julie) via Apple's "Find My" service.

I will never sell, and will not share your data with third parties except when:

  • You have given consent
  • It is necessary for service provision
  • It is required by law

7. Data Retention

I retain client data only for as long as necessary:

  • Client and pet care data is typically kept for up to 6 years after your last booking (for legal and insurance purposes).

  • Google Analytics data is retained according to Google’s default retention settings.

  • You may request deletion sooner unless I am legally required to retain it.
